OH MY GOSH! It took me a whole day to read it, and it was fantastic! JKR is fantastic, I laughed and cried and hoped and, after frequent potty breaks, bawled my eyes out.
I was telling my sis about the epilogue [ what made me bawl ] through tears, I was so happy! And then, when I came down to go on the computer, which was actually just an excuse to be alone, that's when I started bawling. It was the end, and though many losses, it was over. My favorite couple married, and my second married as well. Both with children. I have never been so happy in my life, everything I said was in a high-pitched, restrained voice, because if I let my emotions go, I would either start shouting or bawling; as I did, alone.
I just want to say thanks, JK, you were bloody brilliant, and it's been a hell of a ride.
P.S. I solemnly swear I will not spill spoilers! [ not horribly obvious and heartwrenching ones at least ]

-shrugs- I lost interest in HP after Warriors came out. I got the book at midnight and still haven't finished it. But I've been getting ready for our county fair and such so I'd don't have as much time to read as I'd like.
But anywho, I cheated and read a few of the last chapters (including the epilogue). I loved the chapter entitled 'The Princes Tale.' I almost cried because I felt so bad for Severus Snape. Who I did believe was good. xD

Snape was always very interesting...That chapter was my absolute favorite of the book. My next was King's Cross...I did loose interest in the books, I'm not like really excited about it, but it was good. Though I must say, for having trying to write ending so nobody could continue them, she certainly left enough so someone could...well with the epilogue. I think more of her point was not to continue Harry's story though... Anyway...So sad about Lupin, he was my favorite character...

I was so excited that Snape was good. The fact that he forever loved Lily kind of surprised me, but it almost made me cry, espcially the part where he sent his Patronus through the window. -cries-

Yeah, when I first read Warriors, I lost my whole HP vibe. But when I got a letter from my friend who had been to HP camp with me, I couldn't pretend all my HP crazy antics never existed. But I'll always be a loyal warrior at heart, no worries there. I was glad Snape was good. I was on HPANA, and I absolutely did not believe that he was good. Hey, guess JK surprised us all in a way? Lupin and Tonks... they were such awesome characters. But I loved the end with little Teddy, though, he should be 19 years old, he was born during the war... hmzy...

Voldemort is 71 when he dies... Lupin is only 37... OMG I cried so hard when Fred died... He and Ginny were my FAVORITE out of all the Weasleys...

Wow... 71, I didn't know that. Actually, I hadn't the faintest idea how old he was.
Oh I know! Fred was so... not a word to describe him he's so fantastic. Lupin too, but I really did like Fred. Him and George always provided comic relief.

Well, in Book 2, it's been 50 years since he opened the chamber and he did that when he was 16. 16 + 50 = 66. Then you add five because it's been five years since book 2 and you get 71.
Fred was incredible, Lupin was a good character but Fred.... I feel bad for George and Teddy. Imagine losing your twin, your alter ego... Poor Teddy is an orphan...

>< I didn't read ANY of the books. Watching movies and getting people's spoilers are much more fun to me- I was walking to the corner store a few days ago, and My sister was telling me about how at the end Ginny was going to die, and Mrs. Weasely jumps onto the table and yells; "NOT MY DAUGHTER, YOU B**CH!!" x3

That was HILARIOUS! My favorite parts though were Snape's memories and when they found the sword of Gryffindor.
