Cat Banner:Description:
Shades and hues of many different colors swirled and mixed together lay on this she-cats lean and nimble body. Her fur length is pretty long, but it's nowhere near being silky. No, not Auburnstar's fur. Her pelt is more... limp then anything. Each hair of different color hangs loosely, and her fur is actually quite greasy as well. And, to make it more ragged looking, many scars rest on this she-cats pelt; many places where her long not-so-silky fur hasn't grown back and never will. What can I say? This is Auburnstar, and she loves it.Personality:
Auburnstar's fur color is indeed unique. For one, it is not anly one color, but many many more and for two, you can harldy distinguish when one color is changing into another because they are mixed so closely , making it impossible to count all the colors, but at the same time making it one color of many different shades. Nobody knows the base color of Auburnstar's coat, or the color that appears most, some would say black, some would say brown, some would say orange, but like before, it's impossible to tell. I guess if you were to distinguish the colors of her coat, you would pick out black, brown, orange, red, blonde, white and a bit of blue. And then everything that those colors can make when mixed together.
This she-cats face is more pointed then anything, but yet, still slightly rounded at the cheeks. She has a white chin with small brown speckles on it where the beautiful snow white whiskers spawn out around her soft pink nose. The rest of her face is brownish, orangish, blondish... a mix of the three. With patches of solid colors here and there. In the middle of her face lay two very pretty auburn eyes that spark out at you when you see her. They aren't exactly red, and they aren't exactly brown, they're in between with swirls and specks of each when you look closely. They have a black outline color, making them stand out even more on her face. White "eyebrow" whiskers pop out above them, just like the whiskers around her nose and they give her a somewhat... elegant look. She has one deep and nasty scar running down her right cheek and moving onto her neck, which she got from a fight she had with a farm cat when she was younger. Auburnstar has two large ears ontop of her head, one almost intirely a red color on the backside, while the other is a mix between red, black and brown. Soft white hairs tuft out from the inside on some on the top, giving her a lynx-like ear look.
Now, lastly, we get to Auburnstar's most prized possesions: her weapons. At least, that's what she calls them. Inside this she-cats paws rest four sets of claws. Unlike most cats, whose claws are white, Auburnstar's claws are a dark black, ebony shade. They are hooked as well, and used most often in battle. At least used more then her teeth. Auburnstar's teeth are white, and yellowing and they are hidden behind coal black lips. She doesn't use them much in battle, for she likes combat where you are moving around more and using your speed and you swiped with your claws instead of using your strength and tyring to pin somebody down with a harsh bite from sharp teeth.
Yes, Auburnstar is a very unique cat with her odd pelt color(s), auburn eyes and black claws, and if she weren't this way, if she weren't different, she wouldn't be Auburnstar at all.
Everybody has a different personality, in some way or another. You won't find one cat with the same exact likes and dislikes as another cat, it's just not possible with all the possibilities for likes and dislikes and the path your actions will take you. There isn't one cat that will act just the same as another. Now Auburnstar, she definitely doesn't act like any other cat at all.History:
Auburnstar is a puzzle. Her mood and actions are odd, and different then others. I wouldn't say that she has mood swings, no, they're different, it's completely explainable when she goes from sweet to angry, or angry to sweet. She always has a reason. You just have to figure that reason out, and once you do, you see that Auburnstar is very complicated, not that you didn't see that before.
This she-cat is one to fight. She'll stick up for what she wants, or what she thinks is right. She's quite a stubborn she-cat. She won't give up until her last breath is gone. She likes getting her way, and won't think of anything other. Of course, all the decisions that she fights for and won't budge to change or compromise are those that are for the better for her clan.
Like most leaders, and most cats in the clan, you wouldn't be able to make Auburnstar turn her back on her clan. She'll do everything to protect it, including give all of her nine-well, eight now-lives up. She wants to see her clan excell and grow strong. Say one thing about hurting RavenClan, and she'll be on top of you with fangs bared. You don't want to mess with her, or her clan, she won't be afraid to tear a few tufts of fur out until you get her message.
Speaking about pulling tufts of fur out, Auburnstar in battle is a great fighter. Not because of strength, or speed, but because of her cleverness. She's usually able to predict the move of her opponent before it's shot at her, giving her time to move out of the way and make her own strike. All you have to do is study the cat, and take time away from throwing blows to do so. Be swift and precise and you've got yourself a hard fight for her.
At times, Auburnstar is seen as a cat full of wisdom. She knows answers that many cats might not, but that doesn't mean she'll always straight up share them. Auburnstar likes to see how cats deal with situations on their own instead of telling them the path that they need to grow on. She might give them a hint, but in a way she's like a StarClan cat, because she only gives a riddle instead of the full story.
Overall, Auburnstar is an interesting cat to get to know. She's gentle and kind on her good side, and a fighter with her brain, words and her weapons. All around, she's a good cat that is almost the ideal leader to get the clan to go far.
Auburnstar's past was full of many different twists and turns, and different places of living. Here, she takes you through her story from her point of veiw.Role Playing Example:
---------
I was born in the city, in an alley, in a cardboard box. My mother bore six, yes, six kits the dark night with the moon shining high above us. She named each of us, all in turn, licking our head right after she dubbed us. "Pecay," a lick on my brother's ash colored head. "Dashi," a lick on my sisters golden head. "Cya," a lick upon my sister's coal colored head. "Scorsha," a lick on yet another one of my sister's brown head. "Nitya," a lick on my last sisters raven-black head. And finally, "Tohr," a lick on my, multicolored, mixed head.
I grew up with my mother, my four sisters and one brother in that alley way in which we were born. That was our home, where we came every night to curl up together in that old cardboard box. I never knew my father, and personally didn't care. I had enough love as it was.
I would often go out with Pecay on the streets. He was my favorite littermate and we would play together and walk up to those carts that the humans had, mewing and asking for scraps of food. It usually worked too, us using our cute little kitten faces. We were well fed and happy with our life, there was much to explore in the city and much to see.
By the time we were all around 7 moons, however, things were starting to get old. Pecay and I knew the city by heart, we knew the best places to get food and often we'd take our other siblings on small tours, since we were the only ones that explored so much. We were bored, we wanted adventure, and so we left. My mother knew that the day would come sometime, and so, when we told her the two of us were leaving the city, she was not surprised, but that's not to say she wasn't sad to see us go.
Pecay and I left our sisters and mother and traveled outside the city limits. We came upon a farm, and stayed there for a moon, but that life of lazing around didn't really satisfy us, so we moved on. It was around the time when we were 9 moons that we heard about the forest that was for cats that needed a home. We were intriguied, and we quickly found our paws heading in the direction. It was only a matter of time before the tall trees appeared -- both coniferous and deciduous -- and the dark forest soon became our home.
The two of us joined the clan known as RavenClan, and allthough we were 11 moons now and could just be warriors, we wanted to see what it was like being apprentices. So, when we had decided we were going to stay, they gave us our apprentice names, mine being Auburnpaw and my brothers being Pinepaw. We trained together for two moons, when it was time for us to move on to the warrior stage. We were dubbed Auburnleaf and Pinethroat, and we stood in front of our clan as loyal and trustworthy members.
It was at the age of 23 moons that Pinethroat fell in love. It was a she-cat from Ravenclan with a sleek black pelt and beautiful aqua eyes. Her name was Riversong. I have to admit, she was beautiful, and I was glad that my brother had somebody to be with, but I felt lonely. I felt like I was on the outside. At 25 moons, the two of them had kits, Aquakit, and Heronkit, and Heronkit looked exactly Pinethroat. They shared the same ash colored coat and the same deep brown eyes. It was a sight to see the small miniture figure of my brother.
The kits were 3 moons when greencough struck the forest. Sadly, Aquakit caught it and was to young to fight it off. Her life ended too soon. Riversong also became ill, but she was able to get by, keeping strong, but not strong enough. In a battle between some loners that were trespassing, Riversong fell to the ground. Pinethroat was heartbroken. His world seemed to have ended. He was quiet all the time, and I could barely ever get anything out of him, but I was always, always there for him. He never came to me though, and he died of starvation because he wouldn't eat.
When Heronkit was 6 moons old, the clan thought it wise that he was apprenticed to me, seeing as I was his only living relative around him. Heronpaw became my apprentice and the two of us bonded. He grew strong, and was a great hunter.
When I was 37 moons, and he still my apprentice, my clan leader called upon me to take over Grimfang's deputy position after he had disappeared mysteriously never to be seen again. A few days after that, Heronpaw became Heronfeather, and I was very proud of my kin.
When I was 42 moons, my leader was on her last life. It wasn't long until she had left our world and went to hunt with StarClan, she was a very, very old cat, I was surprised she had lived so long. I took over her spot and took my name Auburnstar, and I have to say I think I've done a pretty good job in representing my clan so far. I was not born here, but I am strictly loyal and I know what is good for us. I will serve my clan until my last life leaves me.
Claws tore at the bark of the narrow pine tree as legs thrust a lean figure upwards into the trees branches. The she-cat pulled herself onto one of the thin branches and it shook beneath her weight, but she had trust in it, she knew it wouldn't break.Codeword: Rapids
The moonlight above hardly came down into the forest for the thick pine needles blocked the rays from entering. Although, the few that did caught onto the she-cats dark fur and illuminated it. The blacks, oranges, whites, browns, reds, and blues sparkled and each had a somewhat silvery sheen to them. The figure was that of RavenClan's leader: Auburnstar.
Auburnstar sat on the branch, her claws digging into it so that she would stay up. Her tail hung loosely behind her and her muscles relaxed after the quick climb. Why the she-cat leader was sitting up here would be unknown to any cat that walked by. The reason that Auburnstar had though, was because this is where Pinethroat and herself, as Auburnleaf, used to venture when they first came here. In this same tree Pinepaw and Auburnpaw sat; Pinethroat and Auburnleaf sat; Auburnleaf sat alone. After her brothers death, Auburnstar hadn't come out here for some time, but there was that one day when her paws just... brought her here without consulting her mind first. Auburnleaf had found herself sitting there alone without her brother beside her. Without the words that they spoke together as they sat comfortably. And after that, every night Auburnleaf snuck out of out of camp and came to sit on the exact same branch that the two of them would sit. She comes out here now, even as Auburnstar, but not quite as often.
Right now, Auburnstar sat with her auburn eyes staring into the darkness that surrounded her. Her mind was blank, and if a bird was around and wanted to land on this branch, it would have no problem for the leader was as silent as stone and as still as the tree itself.
Auburnstar sat for who knows how long before her paws all of a sudden jerked and she clawed her way down the tree. The spot up there had become a place where she could clear her thoughts. And that's exactly what she had done. She had not thought of her brother, she had not thought of the clan, she had not thought of anything. Her mind had been empty the whole time, and it was still empty as her moonlit paws brought her all the way back to the camp to go to sleep in her den and dream of magnificent things.

Kind of bad RP example, but I wanted to get it done and I don't have that much muse. x3
