A base color like that of sand covered in soft white snow. Small rocks dot the sand and a few rippling lines where water has touched and backed away can be seen, especially around her neck. Her coat is thick, yet sleek. Her body muscular, yet lithe. Her tail is rather long and thin, but it is also exceptionally strong and can whip around a cat's neck and tighten to cut off their air. This being said, Tundrasnow is built to be a strong fighter, but also a more-than-capable hunter. Her tail has black-rings around it and is capped with a rounded black tail tip.Personality:
Tundrasnow's head isn't your typical round head, nor is it the beautiful triangular shape some cats hold. In a sense, it's a rounded triangle, or an angular circle. Either way, the back of her head is round, but her jaw-line sharpens out to a strong curved-point, if that makes any sense at all. Sharp ice-blue eyes stare out at you from her face, piercing your thoughts and causing any sense of security to vanish. Long, thin and sensitive silver whisker protude from her cheeks. Her small pink nose will twitch at the smallest whiff of a mouse, and her triangular ears that perch atop her head can pinpoint the faintest of heartbeats. She truly is a gifted cat.
As a kittypet, Tundrasnow felt the companionship of her friend Rose, the love of her family but the strongest emotion was the need to escape. Being cooped up in the nest did not suite her. She always found a way to get out of the house, through an open window, a hole in the basement, even one time she climbed up the chimney!History:
Tundrasnow is an independant spirit that not even chains can hold. She loves to feel the wind in her fur, see the moon light shining over the tree tops, hear the birds chirping in the morning, taste the fresh, clear water, and feel the satisfaction when she catches a bit of prey. An optimist to the core and an even-tempered cat, she is truly original.
She angers rarely and is more than willing to forgive and forget. For example, Rose, who she hated for leaving. When Rose returned, she forgave her instantly. When Tux left to join RavenClan, in her heart she still forgave him and loved him. Her one major flaw was first seen when she learned not only the Tux had forgotten about her, but taken a mate in RavenClan. She learned of this only a few moons ago when she heard a pair of aapprentices talking about their father. She was angered that he had never told hher this, nor had his brother. Even then, she contained herself holding a nice conversation with the she-cat who was their mother. It was only after the Gathering that she burst out in anger, seething with rage that scared even Rosefrost.
When angry, she will act civilized until she feels the need to let her anger out. If she is controled by utter and complete rage, you will know it. Her ice blue eyes will darken to the color of a stormy sea, churning wildly with clearly visible emotion, her pelt will bristle, first her shoulder fur, then along her spine, her tail will fluff out, then the rest of her fur will stand up on its end. Her claws of ivory will unsheath, her tail lash and her ears will fall flat against her head. She will rant and shout, yowl and will not allow any interruptions. It's rather frightful, but thank StarClan it's only happened twice.
Tundrasnow's mother was a purebred ocicat, as was her father. She was bred to be a rat trapper in a barn near the twoleg nest she lived in. She was what you would call, an outside cat. Life with her six brothers was hard, especially since she was the only she-cat in the litter. The food was disgusting, the milk fake compared to her mothers, the water tainted with a foul smell. Next door was another breeder. She bred cats for their exotic coloration. One such cat, was Tundrasnow's best friend, Rose. Tundrasnow, back then known as Sandy, had heard from cats passing through about a rumored forest where you could leave behind your past and no questions were asked. After telling this to Rose who was quite a few moons younger, they decided to escape their civilized prison and take their chances in the wild.Role Playing Example:
Of course, as they began their journey, they realized that a, they had no idea where to go, and b, they had no idea how to fight, sure Sandy could hunt well, but fighting was a different matter. Luckily, on the way there, they ran into a group of cats traveling to the forest aswell. The leader of the small group was a tom cat called Tux, as he was what twolegs called a 'tuxedo' cat. He taught Sandy to fight, both honorably, and dirty. Rose was also taught how to fight. Another cat named Tex, ironically Tux's brother, helped them to hone their hunting skills.
After about 20 moons of traveling, they arrived at the forest. But relationships had changed. Sandy had fallen in love with Tux and slowly began to ignore Rose. After awhile, Rose split off from the group and made her own way to the forest. Up until 15 moons ago, Sandy had never seen or heard from her friend. When they reached the forest, naturally the group split up, Tux was torn between his mate, Sandy, and his brother Tex. In the end, he decided to stay with his brother. During the journey, Sandy had given birth to two kits, Ocean and Night. While their parents were a tuxedo cat and an ocicat, their pelt resembled neither, but Tux said his parents had a similar coloration. Sandy believed this as his brother somewhat resembled them.
And so, Tex and Tux went to RavenClan while Sandy went to MoonClan. By this time, her kits were ten moons old and opted to join StormClan. After becoming apprentices, Ocean became known as Oceanfeather, and Night was known as Nightshadow. Sandy earned the name of Tundrasnow, Tux chose to keep his name while Tex changed his to be Smokewhisper.
At the time of their arrivel, Tundrasnow was about 36 moons old and Rose would have been 30. There was a battle between RavenClan and MoonClan about six moons after. In this battle, Tundrasnow found herself battling against Tux. He took a swipe at her, jeering at her for not retaliating. With a sinking feeling, she realized her mate had forgotten about her. Tux had her pinned by the neck and was about to sink his teeth into her throat when a white cat with red markings launched itself at him. As Tundrasnow scrambled to her feet, she recognized the small tabby cat who had saved her life. Rose... she whispered. The ex-kittypet flashed her a grin from where she stood on top of Tux, having pinned him down despite her smaller size. After giving the former leader of their group a vicious bite on his shoulder, she let him go. After the battle, Tundrasnow learned that he had been killed as he tried to escape.
Rose joined MoonClan, their old quarel forgotten, under the name of Rosepaw. Much to her annoyance, and Tundrasnow's amusement, Rosepaw's assigned mentor was none other than her older friend. After training her companion and teaching her of the Clans and their ways, Rosepaw became known as Rosefrost.
About a moon later, their deputy, Windbreath, died in battle. After much consideration, Tundrasnow was chosen as deputy. Once again, a rift was created between she and Rosefrost, and so she always takes the time to hang around with her friend. She has been deputy for eight moons.
Snow fell from above, some of the soft powder landed on the branches above her, some below her, she herself looked like a spotted mound of snow. Her ringed tail hung limply from the branch she lounged upon. Her paws stretched out infront of her, her ears pricked up, alert for any sound. She seemed on edge, but she was quite the opposite. She felt relaxed and laid back. The patrols had been sent out, she probably wouldn't be needed for awhile, atleast until sunhigh. She glanced up at the sky, partially obscured by the thick branches of the Great Cotton.Codeword: Rapids
She closed her icy eyes, sheathed her claws and let out a tranquile sigh. Above her, a bird chirped, a bright red cardinal stood a few branches above her. But she was not focused on getting it. The ruby-colored avian's chirp had startled her. She gave a start, forgetting she was on a tree branch and jerked back wards in surprise. The small movement was enough to unbalance her. Her back paws slid off the branch, her body held up only by her two front paws as she tried to scramble upwards. The branch was too smooth and was covered in soft powdery snow. As she was unable to get a hold on the branch, she looked down and saw a branch about a fox-length below her. Taking a deep breath, she closed her eyes and let go of the branch. She twirled her tail so that she landed on all four paws and heaved a sigh of relief as she landed safely on the thick branch.
Still shaken, she decided to sit for a few moments. Her eyes lifted to the snowing heavens above her. Thank you, StarClan, she thought silently, grateful that she had landed safely. An inch off to either side and she would have fallen again due to the snow. Carefully, she jumped to the branch below her, then the one below that. Slowly, she made her way down the Great Cotton until she reached the bottom branch. Slightly safer her, about two fox-lengths above the ground, she allowed herself to relax once again.
